There is around 40 languages in Venezuela people of the county use. The primary language in Venezuela is Spanish. Spanish and languages spoken by Indigenous people from Venezuela was declared as an official language by the Constitution of Venezuela in 1999. Chinese (400,000+/-), Portuguese (254,000+/-), and Italian (200,000+/-) are the most spoken language in Venezuela after the official language of Spanish. Wayuu is the most spoken indigenous language with 170,00+/-.

Cultures of Venezuela are diverse and complex. The culture of Venezuela was made by the different people how made Venezuela their home. Venezuela have a rich cultural heritage. The natives of Spanish and Africans who arrived after the Spanish Conquest. During the 17th century waves immigration brought many Italians, Portuguese, Arabs, Germans, Moroccan Jews, and others from the bordering countries of South America. The majority of the population lives in urban areas in the north part of the country. 5% of the population lives south of the Orinoco River. Caribbean context influences the historic buildings, architecture, art, landscape, boundaries, and monuments. Before this Venezuela culture was expressed in art, crafts, architecture, and social organization.

Though Spanish is the main language, there are many sub-dialects used in Venezuela. Language in Venezuela consist of Caracas Dialect, Zulian Dialect, Lara Dialect, Andean Dialect,and  Margaritan Dialect. Caracas Dialect is mostly used in the capital city, Caracas. Caracas in the language used in the media. Zulian Dialect is spoken in the north-west region of the country especially Zulia. This dialect is also known as marina of maracucho. Lara Dialect uses vase but only in circumstances where the verbal declension of the old Spanish is kept. Andean Dialect is spoken mostly in the state of Tachira near the border of Colombia. Margaritan Dialect is used in Isla Margarita and in the northeast region of continental Venezuela. Language in Venezuela very diverse.
