Massachusetts Land Auctions, Boston and Cape Cod Real Estate

Auctioneers conduct numerous Massachusetts land auctions and Massachusetts real estate auctions for Boston homes, Cape Cod real estate, commercial properties, and farmlands.  Before an auction takes place, the Auctioneer performs a land analysis and property evaluation, detailing a proposal for marketing the MA land auction.

massachusetts real estateMassachusetts real estate is in the New England region, a cluster of states in the northeastern corner of the United States.  The relatively small state of Massachusetts spans 10,555 square miles.  Boston homes for sale reach out from the Charles River as it passes the innermost tip of Massachusetts Bay.  The river flows through the state.

Greater Boston Metropolitan area is home to 4.4 million people, with most populating the suburbs between Boston and Worcester.  The historic city offers colleges and universities, professional sports, cultural activities and an extensive park system.  Boston auctions and online only auctions are gaining popularity in the area.

Cape Cod vacation real estate is located on or near the Atlantic Ocean side of the state on a large sandy arm-shaped peninsula.  South of Cape Cod, the islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket are two more famous vacation areas.  Sandy beaches formed millions of years ago when glaciers scraped the uplands of resistant metamorphic rock leaving fine sediment behind.

massachusetts landMassachusetts appropriately means “large hill place.” Further north and west, the elevations increase to the highest point atop Mount Greylock at 3,491 feet in the northeast corner of the state.  Lower elevations are present where the Connecticut River cuts through the uplands in Pioneer Valley and in the Housatonic Valley in the western part of the state.  The Housatonic Valley separates the Berkshire Hills and the Taconic Range as it runs along the border of New York.

Named after the Massachusetts Indians, Massachusetts joined the Union on February 6, 1788.  The State Capital of the Bay State is Boston and the largest cities are Boston, Worcester, and Springfield.  Bordering states are New Hampshire and Vermont on the north, New York on the west, Connecticut and Rhode Island on the south, and the Atlantic Ocean on the east.
